Overview

Vantage is the OpenAtlas product for plot-based environmental analysis. It combines a web application for operational workflows with an API for programmatic integration workflows.

Teams use Vantage to register production plots, run analyses, review geospatial results, and prepare compliance or due diligence outputs. The app and API share the same core concepts, so teams can start manually and automate workflows without changing their data model.

Core Concepts​

Projects​

Projects group related plots and analyses. A project can represent a supplier portfolio, commodity sample, sourcing region, or any other operational dataset your team needs to review together.

Plots of Land​

Each plot has a geolocation, metadata, and analysis history. For EUDR-related workflows, the plot of land is the core spatial unit used to assess deforestation, protected area overlap, Indigenous land overlap, and related due diligence signals.

Analyses​

Analyses are checks that Vantage runs against one or more plots. EUDR analysis is the main regulated workflow, and Vantage also supports broader geospatial analysis signals such as crop health, soil moisture, productivity, drought risk, solar, vineyard, and data center suitability screens, and visual verification.

Jobs and Analysis Runs​

When an analysis is started, Vantage creates a job. Each assessed plot receives an analysis run that records the exact configuration used for that execution. This makes repeated assessments auditable across harvest dates, commodities, and analysis types.

Tokens​

Vantage uses analysis tokens for billable analysis work. Plot registration can return a token estimate, while creating an analysis job reserves tokens for the run. If a job is incomplete, tokens reserved for plots that did not complete analysis are reimbursed.
